Summer Closing Ceremony for Master's Students 2023

The annual Summer Closing Ceremony for International Master’s Students is an opportunity for us to say thank you for attending Uppsala University and wish you the best for the future. For 2023, the ceremony will be held on June 1, approximately between 18:00-19:15, in the University Main Building in Uppsala. Doors will open at 17.30. The ceremony will be held in the Grand Auditorium from 18:00 to 18:45, it will contain speeches and musical entertainment. Afterwards, we will have time for students to mingle outside.

This Summer Closing Ceremony is for all final year students attending any international Master's programme at Uppsala University. Please note that no Master's degree certificates are awarded via this ceremony, as it is not a formal graduation ceremony.

Individual Master’s programmes and/or university departments may also arrange graduation events and activities for their students. You are of course welcome to take part in both.
